SALUT TOUT LE MONDE, COMMENT CA VA? Tres bien, j'espere.
Alrighty then, this was a knitting project from a couple of years ago. I remember sitting in chemistry and a friend said to me that he wanted a job where he could just sit around and listen to The Beatles all day long. I told him I wanted a job where I could just sit around and knit all day. That would be such a great thing to get paid to do. Well, I guess both would be.
I spent a lot of time making this dress, only it's a tad too crazy to wear in public, don't you find? I haven't actually finished stitching it together anyway. Maybe one day I will.
This is the dress I made WITH Allison. Anyone else notice that she took full credit for it? Well, I guess she deserves to, since she did all the tricky stuff. All I did was buy the fabric, cut it up, and do some of the easy sewing. So, thanks love :)
Note: I'm going to show my appreciation for this dress with my knitting skills. YOU'LL SEE plus tard. Stay excited.
This is the back of the dress. Like elle a dit, this dress is known as The Heartless Dress. I plan on going to uni and wearing it as you see below when it is one day warm. Hopefully soon!
More awkward posing...
This is the jumper I made. It is only slightly less crazy than the knitted dress, but nobody has seemed to be too confronted by it. What am I even saying? I love it, it's so warm. I don't know how I would survive winter without it.
And from the front. As you could probably guess, to make this jumper I mainly used up wool I had lying around. I really overestimated how far the wool would go, which is why the front has so many different kinds of wool.
This is how I ended up wearing the dress today.
So there you have it. Is it just me or do I overuse the word "so"? FAR OUT I haven't even had dinner yet. I'm also really tired. HUSH your complaining, Melodee!
My apologies. I'm in a strange mood. I'd link you to a song but I don't have a new obsession this week. I find that strange. Oh well.
Goodbye for now my sweethearts
