Greetings my little piglets,
As I sit here from the comfort of my overalls, greeting you with the warmth of greetings, I am watching Disney's Hercules and having soup. My faith in the world is restored.
In the latest and most exciting of news, a dearest friend of mine, Hannah, has returned home after a six months in the wilderness of Madagascar. The Universe begins to rearrange itself into order again.
Now, on to the crux of the matter:
My favourite outfit of the week:
Melodee the Sweetheart, has an extremely funny joke about my monochromatic-ness something to do with being a burglar. However, I had purchased a cat mask in a previous life, as seen above, and I love it very much. I wish I had the guts to wear it out. It does make for a very nice complement to my burglar alter-ego, although ever so much less co-ordinated and attractive than Ann Hathaway.
This was the outfit I promised you last week, and I enjoy it even more than I did last week. The shoes and the socks were minor adjustments. I obviously did not tramp around the university with those sky-highs. I wish I did and I wish that people would not judge a person for wearing heels outside of formal social events, parties or the catwalk. I do a lot of wishing.
This was a dress I inherited from my mother. She planned on having it for herself, but I moved for an early coming-into-my-fortune. Isn't it beautiful? For a while I though I wouldn't fit into it, but then I did. The houndstooth coat is also one of my favourite wardrobe items, I still can't find an appropriate event to wear it to. Eighties shoulder pads give the illusion of formality.
*I couldn't be bothered doing up the other side of my shoe strap. I am sorry if this perturbs you. Can't be helped.
Anyway piglets, I am tired from being ill. I shall get back to my life and you shall get back to yours.
Till next week,
Over and out,
This Little Pig.
